Our Verdict
I found the mattress to be smaller and more firm than I would typically prefer in a mattress, however it's still an affordable mattress brand that offers great motion isolation, pressure relief and responsiveness. Also with their 180-night sleep trial, you can check it out and see for yourself whether it's the right fit for you.

In-depth review
Firmness Level
The Siena mattress is technically a 6.5/10 on the firmness scale, but I'll have to be completely honest that it didn't really feel like it. It's a little bit firmer than other mattresses I have personally used and is more of a 8 out 10 on the firmness level, probably because of its size also. Since it's smaller than other mattresses, there's less space between you and either the box spring or your bed frame.
Soft
FirmCooling Properties
In terms of cooling properties, the Siena mattress has a 'gel memory foam layer' that's there with the goal of wicking away excess body heat. The air pockets between the layers of this particular mattress help the mattress breathe so you can sleep comfortably at night, even if it's hot out. This feature was solid, earning itself a 3 on the coolness level, with 1 being the coldest.
Cool
HotPressure Relief
The Siena mattress is made from highly responsive memory foam that offers a feeling of pressure relief as it adapts to the shape of your body, size and overall sleep position. It cushions your body and really felt like every joint and muscle was relaxed thanks to it.
Low Pressure
High PressureResponsiveness
Like I mentioned about the pressure relief it offers, it's a great option for those looking for a responsive mattress that will have you feel nice and tucked in while laying in bed or sleeping.
No Bounce
Very ResponsiveMotion Isolation
As for motion transfer, I took a pretty full glass of water, placed it on one side of the bed, and sat on the other side of the bed to see if any water would spill. So even though the Siena mattress is smaller than I would like, it passes the test in terms of motion transfer and isolation. It's also cool there's no springs in this mattress and is made with motion reducing foam so you don't bounce up and down every time someone moves.
Low Motion Isolation
High Motion IsolationEdge Support
After scooting all the way down to the edge of the Siena mattress, I was absolutely falling off. So to be honest, the Siena mattress scores a 4/10 on edge support.
Construction
The Siena mattress has three layers, plus covers at the top and bottom. The layers are:
The Top Memory Foam Layer
This is the soft memory foam layer that gives the mattress a cushioning quality and adapts to your body shape.
The Supportive Transition Layer
This layer is two inches of polyfoam - which is denser than memory foam and gives the mattress a more supportive quality. It forms a cushion between the foundational and memory foam layers, saving sleepers from too much sinkage.
The Foundational Layer
This layer is five inches of dense foam, designed to provide the mattress with a strong foundation.
Mattress cover
The Siena mattress has a soft, breathable top cover. You should never remove the mattress cover, as it voids the warranty, and the foam layers might get damaged.
The Siena bed also has an interesting second cover at the bottom - a lower cover that reduces slipping and shifting, keeping the mattress firmly in place.
Delivery process
You can purchase the Siena mattress directly from the brand's website. Siena lets you choose between six sizes, and you can also pick financing options to pay in installments. If you like, you can also buy the mattress with one of Siena's bases.
The Siena mattress is delivered for free within 2-5 business days. You can try the mattress out risk-free thanks to the 180-nights trial, and if you're not happy with the results, you can return it for free.
Customer Service
Although Siena is a budget mattress brand, they still provide high-quality customer support, seven days a week.

Is this mattress good for side sleepers?

Yes! It's a medium-firm mattress made with memory foam designed to provide pressure relief for side sleepers. For some side sleepers however it may be too firm - it really depends on personal preference.
